ACTIVITIESThe Alliance is involved in our activities which include: organizing the 2007 Regional Conference on Sustainable Buildings and Construction, 2nd Annual Toronto Regional Green Building Festival, a seminal publication entitled Canada Innovates: Sustainable Buildings Book Project and an awards program to recognize excellence in sustainable building practice.Canada Innovates: Sustainable Building Book ProjectCanada Innovates: Sustainable Building is a landmark publication on Sustainable Canadian Architecture created by the Alliance and the School of Design at George Brown College.The publication highlights the best Canadian sustainable buildings and products. Canada Innovates provides readers with a history of Canadian sustainable design, potential future directions of sustainable design and perspectives from practitioners, constructors and clients on building sustainable buildings. The production process for Canada Innovates has concluded. Check back regularly for the launch of the book Canada Innovates and for information on where the book will be available for purchase. Canada Innovates will be widely distributed to the Canadian architectural, design and academic communities as a resource on sustainability.
